Dr.Sardar Ali was born in Amankot, Swat, Pakistan and completed his primary and secondary education from the local public school. He passed his Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Wadudia High School Saidu Sharif with honors and got first position in the school. He also passed his Higher Secondary School Certificate(F.Sc) examination from Jehan Zeb college, Swat with distinction and won the President Award Scholarship.

In Nov 1998 passed his M.R.C.P.I from Royal college of Physicians of Ireland.
In March 1999, passed his M.R.C.P from Royal College of Physicians of UK.
In June 2003, completed his Master in Respiratory Medicine from National University of Ireland, Galway, Ireland.
In July 2003, he completed Diploma in Medical Management (DMM) from Royal College of Surgeons and Institute of Public Administration, Dublin, Ireland
In June 2007, he completed Specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine and was awarded CSST by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland
In August 2008, he was awarded Fellowship (FCCP) by the American College of Chest Physicians.
In March 2014, he was awarded Fellowship (FRCPI) by the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland
After completing his specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in 2007, Dr.Ali joined St.James’s Hospital, Dublin as a Consultant Respiratory Physician. He worked abroad for some time but then came back and joined Health Service Executive as a Consultant Physician in Respiratory and General Internal medicine.
In November 2011, Dr.Ali joined Galway Clinic as a Consultant Physician in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sardar Ali has presented his clinical work at various international forums, including the Annual Meetings of American Thoracic Society(ATS), American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) and European Respiratory Society(ERS).
Dr. Sardar Ali has also attended Interventional Bronchoscopy courses including Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) in Montreal Canada, Chicago US and Lille, France.
Besides his busy clinical work, Dr. Ali is also actively participating in social activities. He is one of the founding member of a charitable organization “Daar e Arqam” engaged in the organizing and promotion for the community of educational, religious, social and cultural activities.
He was also the founding member of the “South Asia Earthquake Appeal” and successfully raised sufficient fund in 2005 to sponsor a field hospital in the earthquake struck area of Kashmir, Pakistan and then built the “Pak Irish Rehabilitation Centre” in Abbott Abad Pakistan. This centre is providing all the necessary treatment and support to the people with amputations and physical disabilities due to various medical conditions.
Dr.Sardar Ali is the father of three sons, Junaid Ali (Studying Medicine), Saad Ali (Studying Dentistry) and Majid Ali currently a student of Secondary School.
